21. Auditing of accounts

(1)All accounts kept under this Act shall be audited by the Auditor-General at least once in every calendar year.

(2)Before any payment is made to any person eligible for a pension, gratuity or other payment under this Act, or to his eligible widow or other dependants, the computation of that payment shall be verified and certified as correct by the Auditor-General.
