28. Prison discipline

(1)A person deprived of liberty and who is charged with a prison offence shall be informed in writing of the nature and particulars of the offence.

(2)Prison discipline of the offending person deprived of liberty shall be administered in accordance with the Prisons Act (Cap. 90).

(3)All disciplinary proceedings referred to in subsection (1) shall be conducted in accordance with the principles of fair administrative action prescribed under Article 47 of the Constitution.
