43. Power to prohibit or control certain medicines

(1)The Cabinet Secretary, on the recommendation of the Board, may, by order, prohibit or control the manufacture, sale, advertisement or possession of any secret, patent, proprietary or homoeopathic medicine, preparation or appliance.

(2)Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any order made by the Cabinet Secretary under subsection (1) of this section shall be guilty of an offence.[Act No. 25 of 2015, Sch.]
