32. Accounts and audit of the Office of Registrar
(1)The Office of Registrar of Political Parties shall keep proper books of account of the income, expenditure and assets of the Office.(2)Within a period of three months after the end of a financial year, the Office of Registrar of Political Parties shall submit to the Auditor-General, the accounts of the Office together with—(a)a statement of the income and expenditure of the Office during that year; and(b)a statement of the assets and liabilities of the Office during that year.(3)All accounts kept under this Act shall be audited by the Auditor-General at least once in every financial year.
