5A. Financing of travel for terrorism purposes

(1)A person who finances the travel of an individual to a State other than that individual’s State of residence or nationality for the purpose of the perpetration, planning, or preparation of, or participation in, a terrorist act or the providing or receiving of terrorist training commits an offence.

(2)A person who commits an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable, upon conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twenty years in the case of a natural person or a fine not exceeding twenty million shillings in the case of a legal person.
