20. Community Health Units
(1)Each county government shall establish and operationalize community health units.(2)A community health unit shall serve a catchment population of up to five thousand persons in accordance with national guidelines.(3)A community health unit shall comprise of approximately one thousand households in accordance with national guidelines.(4)A community health unit shall, under the coordination of a community health committee, be linked to a health care facility to facilitate delivery and access to primary health care services for the community.
