33. Commission’s authority to appoint

33. Commission’s authority to appoint

(1)The Commission shall have such powers as may be necessary to discharge its functions under Article 234(2) (a) (ii) of the Constitution.

(2)The Commission's authority under subsection (1) shall be exercised at the request of the authorized officer of the public body to which the appointment needs to be made.
