27. Refusal of registration

(1)The Authority may refuse to register any scheme, manager, corporate trustee, custodian or administrator under section 23 if satisfied that—

(a)the information contained in the application for registration is false or untrue in any material particular; or

(b)the applicant does not meet the requirements for registration.

(2)Where the Authority refuses to register any scheme, manager, corporate trustee, or custodian, it shall forthwith notify the applicant in the prescribed form, specifying the reasons for such refusal.
