42. Disclosure of interest
Where a member of a body set up under this Act is directly or indirectly interested in any contract or other matter before that body and is present at a meeting at which the contract or such other matter is the subject of discussion, the person shall disclose the nature of the interest at the meeting as soon as reasonably practicable after the commencement thereof and shall, in addition to any other appropriate action, not take part in the discussion or voting on the contract or such matter.Source: Kenya Law
