9. The Chief Executive Officer
(1)There shall be a Chief Executive Officer of the Institute who shall be competitively appointed by the Council and whose terms and conditions of service shall be determined by the Council in the instrument of appointment.(2)The Chief Executive Officer shall, subject to the directions of the Council, be responsible for the management of the affairs of the Institute and shall be the Secretary to the Council.
