37. Registration of commercial green leaf transporters
(1)A person who intends to carry on the business of commercial green leaf transporter shall register with the Board.(2)A person shall not carry on the business of commercial green leaf transporter unless the person is registered in accordance with this Act.(3)The Cabinet Secretary shall prescribe regulations providing for the procedure for registration of commercial green leaf transporters and the appeal process in case of refusal or denial of registration.(4)A person who contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to a fine not exceeding five million shillings or to both.
