54. Establishment of a Tea Fund

(1)There is established a Fund to be known as the Tea Fund which shall be managed by the Board.

(2)The Fund shall consist of—

(a)monies appropriated by the National Assembly;

(b)monies from the tea levy;

(c)monies from a source approved by the Board; and

(d)grants and donations made to the Board.

(3)The Board shall apply the monies received into the Fund to—

(a)income or price stabilization; and

(b)research and development.
