26. Definitions and application of Schedule 1
(1)Rules 27 to 41 shall govern the application of Schedule 1 and shall be applied in sequence, and the words "the scales", or words of similar import appearing in any of the said rules, shall be read and construed as meaning the charges prescribed by the First, Second and Third Scales to the said Schedule, as modified by the provisions of any preceding rule.(2)In this Order, wherever their application so requires, "conveyance", "mortgage", "mortgagor", and "mortgagee" shall respectively be read and construed as "transfer" or "assignment", "charge", "chargor" and "chargee".
