20. The Deputy Vice-Chancellors
(1)The Council shall, on recommendation of the Senate, appoint the Deputy Vice-Chancellor(s) to assist the Vice-Chancellor in matters pertaining to academic and administrative functions of the University.(2)The Deputy Vice-Chancellor(s) shall be appointed upon the terms and conditions of service prescribed by the Statutes or as the Council may determine.
