13. Performance of the functions in the absence of an office holder
(1)In the absence of the Principal, the Council may appoint an acting Principal from among the Deputy Principals as an acting Principal during the period of absence.(2)In the absence of the Principal and the Deputy Principals, the Council may appoint an acting Principal from among the senior members of the academic staff of the Polytechnic.(3)In the absence of a member of staff of the Polytechnic other than the Principal and Deputy Principals, the Principal may appoint a suitable person to perform the functions of the said officer during the period of absence.
