126. Audit of the annual account
(1)The fund manager shall cause the scheme’s annual report to be audited, and such report shall contain the information provided for in the Sixth Schedule.(2)A person shall not be qualified for appointment as an auditor of a scheme unless he or she is a good standing member of and holds a valid practicing certificate issued by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.(3)An auditor shall be independent of the trustee, the custodian, board of directors and the fund manager, their agents or associates.
