76. Requirement for licensing or approval
(1)Subject to subregulation (2), a person shall not operate an intermediary service platform unless that person has obtained a license from the Authority as an intermediary service platform provider.(2)An existing licensee seeking to operate an intermediary service platform for any other purpose other than improving the efficiency of existing processes shall be required to seek approval from the Authority and the Authority may require compliance with certain requirements under this part prior to granting the approval.(3)A licensed intermediary service platform provider shall be required to seek approval from the Authority before engaging in marketing and distribution of collective investment schemes from multiple fund managers.
