5. Declaration of investor status
(1)A stockbroker shall-(a)on every application for the shares of an issuer; or(b)on the transfer of the shares of a listed company to an investor,declare whether the applicant or the transferee, as the case may be, is a foreign investor, individual local investor or institutional local investors with supporting documentation evidencing such status.(2)No company registrar shall effect any transfer of the ordinary shares of an issuer or of a listed company if such transfer would result in investment in the ordinary shares of such issuer or listed company by local investors to fall below the per centum specified in regulation 3(2).
