13. Eligibility for licences
A person is eligible to be granted a licence under regulation 12 if the Authority is satisfied that—(a)the applicant is a company or limited liability partnership incorporated or registered in Kenya;(b)the applicant has a director, chief executive officer or managing partner who is found to be a fit and proper person to hold the particular position;(c)the representatives of the applicant who provide investment advice have at least three years’ experience in advising on financial products or securities or fund or asset or portfolio management and are members of a professional body; and(d)the applicant has the necessary infrastructure to effectively offer investment advisory services.
