23. The Deputy Vice-Chancellors
(1)The Council shall appoint one or more Deputy Vice-Chancellors, who shall, under the general authority of the Vice-Chancellor, exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned by the Statutes or the instrument of appointment.(2)The Deputy Vice-Chancellors shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor and shall support and assist the Vice-Chancellor in the management of the University.
