16. The Principals of Colleges within the University

16. The Principals of Colleges within the University
(1)The Council shall appoint a Principal for each college within the University, who shall be the academic and administrative head of the college and shall, under the general authority of the Vice-Chancellor, have such other powers and duties as may be provided for by the Statutes.(2)The Principal shall hold office upon such terms and for such period as may be provided for by the Statutes and upon expiration of that period shall be eligible for re-appointment for one further term.
