13. Functions of the Sponsor

The Sponsor—

(a)shall appoint the Chancellor;

(b)shall appoint members of the Council from names proposed by the various Conferences;

(c)may appoint a Board of Trustee and delegate to the Board functions in accordance with the Act; and

(d)shall promote the vision, mission and objects of the University.
