(1)The Council shall cause to be kept proper books and records of accounts of income, expenditure and assets of the University.(2)All funds of the University shall be audited annually, within a period of three months from the end of each financial year, by a qualified independent auditor appointed by the Council.(3)Within a period of six months after the end of the financial year, the auditor shall report on the examination and audit of the account of the University to the Council.(4)The Council shall forward a copy of the audited report to the board of trustees.
