3. Establishment and Incorporation of Africa Nazarene University
(1)There is hereby established a University known as Africa Nazarene University which is constituted in accordance with this Charter.(2)Africa Nazarene University is a private Christian University and an institution of the Church of the Nazarene International which follows the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition.(3)The University shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and shall in its corporate name be capable of—(b)owning, purchasing, leasing or in any other way acquiring as well as transferring, selling, charging or in any other way disposing of absolute or partial rights and interests in any movable and immovable property;(c)borrowing or lending money;(d)entering into contract with other institutions, organizations, bodies corporate or individual persons;(e)doing or performing all such other things or acts for the proper performance of its functions for the furtherance of this Charter, as may lawfully be done or performed by a body corporate.
