8. Instruments of Authority

(1)The University shall possess the following instruments of Authority—

(a)the common seal;

(b)the mace; and

(c)the logo.

(2)The common seal of the University shall be kept in such custody and used only as the Council shall direct.

(3)The common seal of the University is to be authenticated by the signature of the Chairperson of the Council or the Vice-Chancellor and other person duly authorized by the Council.
