34. Decision of Court
(1)Upon hearing the originating summons or any application filed under these Rules, the Court shall deliver its decision within fourteen days from the date when the case is concluded or submissions filed, if any.(2)The Court may in its determination—(a)allow the case and issue such appropriate orders as it deems fit; or(b)dismiss the case and make such other orders as it deems fit for the welfare of the child in accordance with section 134 of the Act.(3)Where the summons or application is allowed, the Court shall indicate the period of extension of the foster care placement.(4)The Court may, at the time of extension of the foster care placement period direct the filing of follow-up reports concerning the welfare of the child, or order that the case be periodically listed for mention.
