12. Testamentary guardianship by will

12. Testamentary guardianship by will
(1)A parent or guardian of a child may make a will appointing any person to be the guardian of the child in the event of such parent’s or guardian’s death.(2)The appointment of a testamentary guardian under subrule (1) may otherwise be made under a clause in a will or codicil made pursuant to the provisions of the Law of Succession Act.(3)The making, execution, and attestation of wills or codicils contemplated under this rule shall be in accordance with the law relating to testamentary instruments.
