30. Maintenance of records, appraisals and information sharing
(1)The rescue coordination centre shall keep a record of the operational efficiency of the aeronautical search and rescue organization in the region.(2)The rescue coordination centre shall prepare appraisals of actual aeronautical search and rescue operations in the region and the reports shall include any pertinent remarks on the procedures used, the emergency and survival equipment, and any suggestions for improvement of those procedures and equipment.(3)Appraisals which are likely to be of interest to other States shall be submitted to ICAO for information and dissemination as appropriate.
