41. Initial review by the Authority
(1)The Authority shall review the application for accuracy and compliance with the requirements of regulations 39 and 40.(2)If the application appears on its face to satisfy the provisions of this regulation and the Authority determines that a review of its merits is justified, the Authority shall publish a detailed summary of the application in either Kenya Gazette, aeronautical information circular or at least one local daily newspaper for comment and specify the date by which comments shall be received by the Authority for consideration.(3)Where the filing requirements of Regulations 39 and 40 have not been met, the Authority shall notify the applicant and take no further action until and unless the applicant corrects the application and re-files it in accordance with these Regulations.(4)If the request is for emergency relief, the Authority shall publish the application or the Authority's decision as soon as possible after processing the application.
