49. Change of Name

49. Change of Name

(1)Subject to regulation 10, a holder of a certificate issued under these Regulations may apply to change the name on the certificate.

(2)The holder shall include with any such request—

(a)the current certificate; and

(b)a legal document verifying the change of name.

(3)The Authority may change the certificate and issue a replacement thereof.

(4)The Authority shall return to the holder the original documents specified in subregulation (2)(b) and retain copies thereof and return the replaced certificate with an endorsement that it has been cancelled.
