22. Precision approach radar
(1)A precision approach radar (PAR) system, where installed and operated as a radio navigation aid together with equipment for two-way communication with aircraft and facilities for the efficient coordination of these elements with air traffic control, shall conform to regulation 23.(2)When a radio navigation aid is provided to support precision approach and landing, it shall be supplemented, as necessary, by a source or sources of guidance information which, when used in conjunction with appropriate procedures, will provide effective guidance to, and efficient coupling (manual or automatic) with, the desired reference path.
