27. Community awareness programmes
(1)The Cabinet Secretary shall, in consultation with the county governments, the Commission and other stakeholders, develop and roll out a national programme for public education and awareness on provisions of the Act and the rights of communities over community land within twelve months of the commencement of these Regulations.(2)County Governments and relevant agencies shall undertake continuous public education and awareness programmes education and awareness.(3)The awareness programmes to be carried out under paragraph (1) and (2) shall, upon establishment of the community land management committees, be undertaken in liaison with the respective county governments and relevant agencies for continuous implementation of the public education and awareness programme.
