3. Scope of Rules.

These Rules shall govern the actions of the Authority in the exercise of the functions conferred under the Act, in particular, procedures for-

(a)conducting of investigations into contravention of Parts III, IV, V or VI of the Act;

(b)determination of exemptions applications;

(c)mergers determinations;

(d)settlement of contraventions of Part III and Part VI of the Act; and

(e)determination of penalties and remedies.
