14. Permission to engage in other gainful employment.
(1)A public officer who seeks to engage in other gainful employment which is not prohibited under the Act shall seek permission from the reporting authority in writing.(2)The reporting authority shall consider a request for permission to engage in any other gainful employment and communicate the decision in writing within fourteen days from the receipt of the request.(3)A public officer shall, for purposes of section 23(2) of the Act, declare any engagement in other gainful employment to the reporting authority and the Commission in Form G set out in the Schedule.(4)A reporting authority shall maintain a register of other gainful employment undertaken by a public officer in Form H set out in the Schedule.
