31. Suspension pending investigation.
(1)For purposes of section 43 of the Act, a public officer may be suspended from office pending investigation if the officer is likely to—(a)conceal, alter, destroy, remove records, documents or evidence;(b)intimidate, threaten or otherwise interfere with witnesses;(c)influence investigations; or(d)interfere with investigations in any other manner.(2)An application for an order under section 43(4) of the Act shall be a miscellaneous application made before the High Court through a Notice of Motion.
