29. Expanded Bench
(1)A party may apply informally but in writing to the President, with notice to the other parties, for an appeal or application to be heard and determined by an expanded bench consisting of five or more judges of an uneven number.(2)Where satisfied with an application under subrule (1), the President shall constitute the expanded bench and give directions on the hearing of that appeal or application:Provided that where there are conflicting decisions of the court, or for any other good reason, the President may, in consultation with the parties, constitute an expanded bench.
