24. Provisions regarding election
(1)Except as otherwise expressly provided, an election under any of sections 13(1)(h)(ii), 13A, 21, 22 and 23 of this Act, shall be irrevocable.(2)If the whole or any part of a monthly contribution of a member who may elect to cease to contribute remains unpaid for a period of three months, he shall be deemed to have so elected on the first day of the month in respect of which such contribution was payable:Provided that, if in any special case the Board so directs, this subsection shall have effect as if for the reference to three months there was substituted a reference to such longer period as the Board may determine.
