51. Payment of benefits of a member who dies in retirement
(1)If a member who had opted for an income drawdown under section 46(3)(a) dies while in retirement, a pension that is equivalent to the unutilised balance of that member’s retirement savings account shall be paid to the member’s dependants under this Part.(2)The payment under subsection (1) shall commence on the day following the member’s death.(3)If a member who had opted for an annuity payment under section 46(3)(b) dies while in retirement, the payments to the dependants shall be subject to the terms of the annuity.
