6. Powers of the Board
The Board shall—(a)administer the assets and funds of the Institute in such manner and for such purposes as will promote the best interests of the Institute in accordance with the Act;(b)have power to receive, on behalf of the institute, gifts, donations, grants or other moneys and equipment and to make legitimate disbursements therefrom;(c)have power to enter into association with other persons, bodies, or organizations within or outside Kenya as the Board may consider desirable or appropriate and in furtherance of the purpose for which the Institute is established;(d)make by-laws for the proper and efficient management of the Institute.
