5. National petroleum policy

5. National petroleum policy

(1)The Cabinet Secretary shall develop and publish a national policy on petroleum operations which shall be reviewed at least once in every five years.

(2)The Cabinet Secretary shall ensure that relevant stakeholders participate effectively in the making of the national policy on petroleum operations.

(3)Within three months after the end of each financial year, the Cabinet Secretary shall prepare and publish on its website and in at least two newspapers of national circulation a report on the implementation of the national petroleum policy.
