12. Qualifications of the Director- General of Physical and Land Use Planning
A person is qualified for appointment as the Director-General of Physical and Land Use Planning if that person—(a)is a citizen of Kenya;(b)holds a master's degree in urban and regional planning or related discipline from a recognized university;(c)is registered as a physical planner under the Physical Planners' Registration Act (Cap. 536) and is in good standing with the relevant professional body;(d)has at least ten years' post-qualification professional experience in physical and land use planning; and(e)is not otherwise disqualified under the provisions of Chapter 6 of the Constitution or any other written law.
