6. Officers of the Court
(1)The Judicial Service Commission shall, pursuant to Article 172(1) of the Constitution, appoint such number of Adjudicators, registrars and other officers of Small Claims Courts as may be necessary for the effective discharge of the functions of the Court.(2)Without prejudice to subsection (1), the Chief Justice may designate any judicial officer to act as an Adjudicator in any proceedings under this Act.(3)Any Adjudicator or officer appointed under this section shall serve on such terms as may be specified in the instrument of appointment.(4)An Adjudicator may serve on full time or part time basis.
