12. Limitation to AMO
(1)The Authority may issue limitation in the scope of approval if required for aircraft, engine, components or specialized maintenance as specified in regulation 11 and where the limitations are described in the approved maintenance organization's procedures manual or capability list, a reference to the manual shall be included in the Scope of Approval.(2)A specialized service rating may be issued to an AMO to perform specific maintenance or processes and the scope of approval of the AMO shall identify the specification used in performing specialized services which may be—(a)a civil or military specification that is currently used by industry and approved by the Authority; or(b)a specification developed by the AMO and approved by the Authority.
