16. Monitoring of CORSIA eligible fuels claims
(1)The aeroplane operator that intends to claim for emissions reductions from the use of CORSIA eligible fuels shall use a CORSIA eligible fuel that meets the ICAO document “CORSIA Sustainability Criteria for CORSIA Eligible Fuels”.(2)The aeroplane operator that intends to claim for emissions reductions from the use of CORSIA eligible fuels shall only use CORSIA eligible fuels from fuel producers that are certified by an approved Sustainability Certification Scheme.(3)Subject to sub-regulation (2), such certification schemes shall meet the requirements prescribed by the Authority.(4)The CORSIA eligible fuel shall not be accounted for if the aeroplane operator cannot demonstrate compliance with the CORSIA Sustainability Criteria.
