18. Liability of the Agency for damages
Despite section 17, the Agency is liable to pay compensation or damages to any person for any injury to that person, that person's property or any of that person's interests where such injury, loss or damage is occasioned by the Agency, its agents or officers in the course of carrying out the lawful functions of the Agency.Source: Kenya Law
